Collegiate Scholarships

Cascade East AHEC Cascades East Area Health Education Center and the St. Charles Foundation currently offer student scholarships for those students who have a desire to enter into a health care career and practice in a rural Oregon area as a certified nurse assistant, registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or other health professional.Applicants must meet application specific requirements as outlined for each scholarship. Lucie Morrison Scholarship

  • Recent graduates of CCHS continuing their education.
  • All applicants answer questions 1-4. CCHS graduating seniors also answer questions 5-11 to determine qualification for donor criteria and preference for specific scholarships.

OAB Scholarship We offer scholarships for High School (and College) students who are interested in careers in broadcasting. We haven’t received many responses at this point so we’re sending them out again.  May 29th
Ochoco Scholarship
  • Be a Crook County High School graduate
  • Parents reside in Crook County;
  • Have completed at least 1 collegiate term
  • Be a full-time student (at least 12 hours per term)
  • Maintain a term GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

It’s the mission of the Scholarship Team to expand opportunities for donors and students to invest in education and career training through private financial support. You don’t need to be a merit scholar or a student with financial need to apply for OSAC scholarships. All types of scholarships are available. Many are based on criteria such as high school attended, school and community activities, academic interests, or career goals. Some require a minimum GPA and others require no GPA whatsoever. There are 500+ scholarship programs and you may qualify, but you won’t know unless you apply. Due March 1st, Early Bird Deadline February 15

Rotary Club For this scholarship, the Rotary Scholarship Selection Committee will consider the following criteria:

  • A minimum of a 2.75 grade point average or demonstration of significant grade improvement during applicant’s high school years.
  • Financial need of applicant.
  • Timely submission of an accurate and complete application packet.
  • Responses to questions on application.
  • Availability for personal interview, if requested.
  • Recipients may not be relatives of a Rotary member serving on the Crook County Rotary Scholarship Selection Committee.

 Scottish Rite Scholarship
  • Each year, the Scottish Rite Education Foundation awards $1000 Scholarships for graduating Seniors to support undergraduate study at the freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior level at an accredited college, university, or trade school.
