CCHS has selected Baily Michel for the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizens Award!

Crook County High School has selected Baily Michel for the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Good Citizens Award.  This award, created in 1934, is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. It recognizes and rewards individuals who possess good citizenship qualities such as dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities. Students are selected by their teachers and peers because they demonstrate these qualities to an outstanding degree.

“I have had Baily in a couple of classes and she has always been a perfect student. She is always on task, gets her work done on time and contributes to group discussions. More importantly, she is always polite and respectful; she cares about her classmates and helps them when they need it. Her work ethic in the classroom and in athletics is admirable. She is a positive role model for younger students and athletes and is very well respected by staff members and adults from our community.” -Vicki Duncan, CCHS Careers, and Health Teacher.

Congratulations Baily!
